1. Minimum Age Requirement

FindMyNikah is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or use our platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Why 18+

FindMyNikah is a matrimonial platform designed for adults seeking marriage partners. Marriage is a legal and religious contract that requires the parties to be adults under applicable law. Our platform facilitates introductions between adults who are legally eligible to marry.

3. Age Verification

We implement the following measures to prevent minors from using our platform:

• Date of birth is required during account registration
• Accounts with a reported age under 18 are automatically rejected
• Optional government ID verification provides additional age confirmation
• Our moderation team reviews flagged accounts for age compliance

4. Children's Data Protection (DPDP Act, 2023)

In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we take additional precautions regarding children's data:

• We do not knowingly process personal data of children (persons under 18)
• If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will take prompt steps to delete all personal data associated with that account
• We do not use children's data for behavioral advertising or profiling
• Verifiable parental consent is not applicable as our platform is not designed for children

5. If You Believe a Minor is Using Our Platform

If you believe a person under 18 is using FindMyNikah, please report it immediately by emailing grievance@findmynikah.com. We will investigate and take immediate action, including account suspension and data deletion.
