Grievance Redressal

1. Our Commitment
FindMyNikah is committed to addressing all user concerns promptly and fairly. We have established a Grievance Redressal mechanism in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. What You Can Report
You may file a grievance for any of the following:
- Privacy or data protection concerns
- Fake profiles or impersonation
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Billing or payment disputes
- Service quality issues
- Content that violates our Community Guidelines
- Any other concern about your experience on FindMyNikah
3. How to File a Grievance
You may file a grievance by emailing our Grievance Officer at:

- Your registered email address
- A clear description of your concern
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence
- Your preferred resolution
4. Resolution Timeline
We follow a structured process to resolve grievances, in compliance with the IT Intermediary Guidelines, 2021:
- Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of receiving your grievance
- Investigation: We will investigate your concern thoroughly
- Resolution: We aim to resolve all grievances within 30 days
- Escalation: If unresolved, you may escalate to the relevant authority
For urgent safety concerns (threats, imminent harm), we prioritize immediate action and may contact law enforcement.
5. Monthly Compliance Reports
As required under the IT Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, we publish monthly compliance reports disclosing:
- Number of complaints received and resolved
- Number of content removal requests and actions taken
- Number of accounts suspended or terminated
- Government and law enforcement requests received

6. Data Protection Grievances
If your grievance relates to the processing of your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer will:
- Acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours
- Investigate and respond within 30 days
- Provide details of the processing and corrective actions taken
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India as constituted under the DPDP Act, 2023.
