Child Safety Standards

Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Last updated: August 16, 2026

FindMyNikah is committed to protecting children and preventing the misuse of our platform. These Child Safety Standards describe our zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”) and child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”).

These standards apply to the FindMyNikah mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Purpose and Scope

FindMyNikah is an adults-only matrimonial platform intended exclusively for people aged 18 years and above who are seeking marriage.

Although minors are not permitted to use FindMyNikah, we recognise our responsibility to prevent, identify, report, and respond to any content or conduct that may sexually exploit, abuse, or endanger a child.

The presence or absence of minors on the platform does not reduce our commitment to child safety.

2. Zero-Tolerance Policy

FindMyNikah has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Users must not use FindMyNikah to create, upload, request, possess, store, distribute, promote, facilitate, or link to CSAM or any other content that sexually exploits or endangers a child.

Any account reasonably suspected of involvement in CSAE or CSAM may be immediately restricted or suspended while the matter is investigated.

Confirmed violations will result in permanent account termination and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

3. Definitions

For these standards:

  • Child means any person under 18 years of age.
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) includes conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, coerces, traffics, manipulates, or endangers a child.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) includes any visual depiction of a child involved in sexually explicit conduct. This includes photographs, videos, illustrations, altered media, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery.
  • Grooming means building trust with a child for the purpose of sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking, or obtaining sexual content.
  • Sextortion means threatening, blackmailing, or coercing a child using real or alleged sexual content or personal information.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and behaviour are strictly prohibited on FindMyNikah:

  • Creating, uploading, possessing, requesting, sharing, or distributing CSAM.
  • Sending links or directing another person to CSAM.
  • Grooming or attempting to groom a child for sexual purposes.
  • Sexualising a child or engaging a child in sexual conversation.
  • Requesting sexual images, videos, calls, or meetings involving a child.
  • Sextortion, blackmail, threats, or coercion involving a child.
  • Facilitating or promoting the sexual trafficking or exploitation of a child.
  • Arranging or attempting to arrange sexual contact with a child.
  • Offering money, gifts, benefits, or opportunities in exchange for sexual activity involving a child.
  • Impersonating a child for an exploitative or abusive purpose.
  • Sharing personal information intended to locate, target, exploit, or endanger a child.
  • Helping another person conceal CSAE or evade child-safety enforcement.
  • Any attempt to normalise, endorse, encourage, or facilitate child sexual exploitation.

These prohibitions apply to profiles, photographs, messages, usernames, biographies, links, and all other user-submitted content.

5. Adults-Only Access

FindMyNikah does not permit anyone under 18 years of age to create or maintain an account.

Users must provide their date of birth during registration and confirm that they meet our eligibility requirements.

If we reasonably believe that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may:

  • Restrict the account while reviewing it.
  • Request appropriate age or identity verification.
  • Remove the account and associated profile from the platform.
  • Preserve relevant information where required for safety or legal purposes.
  • Take additional action when exploitation or immediate danger is suspected.

Users may report suspected underage accounts through FindMyNikah’s in-app reporting system.

6. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

FindMyNikah provides an in-app reporting mechanism for users to report profiles, conversations, inappropriate content, suspected underage users, and other safety concerns.

To submit an in-app report:

  1. Open the relevant member’s profile or conversation.
  2. Select Report.
  3. Choose Child safety / suspected exploitation or abuse, Underage user, or the closest applicable reason.
  4. Provide any additional context that may help us review the concern.
  5. Submit the report.

Child-safety concerns may also be reported by email to:

Reports should include the relevant username, profile, conversation, or account details and a factual description of the concern.

Do not download, copy, forward, email, or redistribute suspected CSAM. Report the account or content location without reproducing the material.

If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law-enforcement authorities without delay.

7. Review and Enforcement

Child-safety reports receive priority review.

Depending on the circumstances, FindMyNikah may:

  • Restrict access to reported content or accounts.
  • Remove prohibited content.
  • Temporarily suspend an account during investigation.
  • Permanently terminate accounts involved in CSAE or CSAM.
  • Prevent or limit attempts to create replacement accounts.
  • Preserve relevant records where permitted or required by law.
  • Cooperate with lawful investigations.
  • Report confirmed CSAM or suspected child exploitation to the appropriate authorities.

FindMyNikah may take action without providing advance notice when notice could create additional risk, interfere with an investigation, or compromise child safety.

8. Reporting to Authorities

When FindMyNikah obtains actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM or conduct that presents a credible risk of child sexual exploitation, we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

This may include reporting the matter to:

  • The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where applicable.
  • The appropriate national or regional child-protection authority.
  • Law-enforcement agencies with relevant jurisdiction.
  • Other legally authorised organisations or reporting channels.

FindMyNikah will respond to valid legal requests and cooperate with authorities investigating child sexual exploitation, subject to applicable law.

9. Evidence and Data Handling

Information connected to a child-safety report will be handled carefully and accessed only by authorised personnel or service providers with a legitimate need.

Relevant account information, reports, communications, and technical records may be preserved when reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect a child or another person from harm.
  • Investigate an alleged violation.
  • Prevent further abuse.
  • Meet legal preservation or reporting obligations.
  • Respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Information will be retained and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Platform Safety Measures

FindMyNikah uses safety measures intended to reduce abuse, including:

  • Adults-only eligibility requirements.
  • Profile and account verification measures.
  • Mutual acceptance before private communication.
  • User blocking and reporting tools.
  • Restrictions on prohibited content and conduct.
  • Review and enforcement of safety reports.
  • Measures intended to prevent users from sharing prohibited contact details or content.
  • Permanent removal of accounts involved in serious safety violations.

We may update these measures as risks, technology, and applicable requirements evolve.

11. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Comply with these standards and all applicable laws.
  • Report suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, exploitation, or underage accounts.
  • Avoid interacting further with an account suspected of child exploitation.
  • Never investigate suspected abuse by requesting additional material.
  • Never download, save, capture, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM.
  • Cooperate truthfully with reasonable safety investigations.

Submitting knowingly false or malicious reports may result in account action.

12. Legal Compliance

FindMyNikah complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates.

We maintain procedures for reviewing child-safety concerns, removing prohibited material, preserving relevant information when legally required, and reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate national or regional authorities.

Nothing in these standards limits our ability to take additional action where necessary to protect a child, another user, or the public.
